Faith in Action International Ministries was founded in July 2024 as a community-centered, Gospel sharing ministry focused on serving the underserved with love and hope through initiatives such as afood bank, clothes closet, and back-to-school supply drives.

This ministry reflects the desire to see people strengthened in faith, healed in heart, renewed in spirit, and equipped to
walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for their lives.
Through teaching, encouragement, prayer, and spiritual development, Double Portion Ministry creates space for individuals to grow deeper in God and move forward with boldness, clarity, and confidence.

Founder Bio: Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Dowdy
Dr. Jacqueline Dowdy is the Founder of Faith in Action International Ministries and a visionary leader,
speaker, author, entrepreneur, and ministry builder with a deep passion for serving people and advancing Kingdom impact.
Her life journey is marked by resilience, faith, perseverance, and purpose. Having overcome adversity
and navigated seasons of challenge, growth, and transformation, Dr. Dowdy knows firsthand what it
means to trust God through uncertainty and to keep moving forward by faith. That journey has shaped
both her leadership and her ministry.
With more than 30 years of experience across leadership, education, administration, business, finance, and community engagement, Dr. Dowdy brings wisdom, compassion, strategic insight, and spiritual depth to her work. She is also the Founder and CEO of Vision in Action Business Solutions, where she helps leaders, nonprofits, and organizations grow with clarity, purpose, and alignment.
Her ministry call is rooted in a desire to share the Gospel, strengthen people in their faith, serve
communities with compassion, and create spaces where lives can be transformed spiritually and
practically. Dr. Dowdy leads with conviction, authenticity, and a heart to see people healed, restored,
empowered, and positioned to walk in God’s purpose.
